Ingredients
2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce or tamari
1 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp rice vinegar
1 tsp maple syrup
1 tsp grated ginger
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup shredded carrots
1/2 cup chopped broccoli
2 green onions, sliced
8 butter or romaine lettuce leaves
sesame seeds for garnish
optional red pepper flakes for spice
Directions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, maple syrup, ginger, and garlic.
- In a large pan over medium heat, add the shredded chicken, carrots, broccoli, and green onions. Pour the sauce over the mixture and stir to combine. Cook for 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.
- Remove from heat and stir in red pepper flakes if using.
- Spoon the mixture into lettuce leaves and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
